The CULTD Handshake

Integration Guide

📖 Integration Guide: The CULTD Handshake

The "Handshake" is the technical connection between your creative content and the brand’s data engine. This guide ensures your audience is measured accurately from the first click to the final verified action.

For every campaign you join, CULTD generates a specific, Unique Tracking URL.

  • Standardized Security: These links are non-customizable to maintain data integrity and prevent URL-spoofing or "middleman" attacks.
  • How to Use: Simply copy your assigned link from the "Campaigns" tab. This link is pre-loaded with the necessary metadata to trigger the CULTD attribution engine across web and mobile environments.

One of the biggest challenges in digital growth is the "Cold Install"—when a user clicks a link, has to download the app, and then loses the specific page they were looking at.

  • Deferred Deep-Linking: CULTD uses a "Handshake" protocol that remembers the user’s intent. Even if they have to visit the App Store first, CULTD identifies the device upon the first app open and redirects them to the specific product or protocol page you recommended.
  • Seamless Attribution: This ensures you receive credit for the specific action intended, reducing "drop-off" and maximizing your Quality Score.

Platform Best Practices: Optimizing the Match

CULTD uses a hybrid of a Probabilistic and Deterministic Matching engines for its "No-SDK" and "The SDK" bridges. To ensure the highest matching accuracy (95%+), follow these placement guidelines:

Primary Placements (Strongest Match):

  • YouTube Descriptions: High-intent traffic with stable browser data.
  • LinkedIn "Featured" Section: Professional traffic often yields the cleanest device data.
  • X (Twitter) Bio or Thread Starters: Best for high-velocity viral campaigns.

Secondary Placements (Link Aggregators):

  • If using Linktree or similar tools, ensure your CULTD link is a "Direct Jump." Avoid adding "Intervention Screens" (e.g., "You are now leaving this site") between the click and the destination, as this can degrade the probabilistic fingerprint.

Browser Consistency: Encourage your audience to open links in their system browser (Safari/Chrome) rather than the "In-App Browser" of some social platforms for the most reliable verification.

Technical Compliance Note

This integration guide is intended for the technical setup of Performance Marketing Campaigns. CULTD links are designed to comply with App Tracking Transparency (ATT) frameworks by utilizing privacy-compliant matching signals that do not rely on prohibited permanent hardware identifiers.
